Does anyone else notice that 2nd gear has a tendency to surge? I try to drive our 06 smoothly. Sometimes, with gentle pressure on the gas pedal, it seems the car surges with a disproportionate amount of power and acceleration in 2nd gear relative to the amount of gas pedal input. This is not desirable to me. I'm not trying to pass anyone. The only other vehicle I've experienced this in was a Dodge Caravan rental and it was very annoying in that minivan because it was constantly doing that in 2nd gear. With the LS, it's intermittent surging...still annoying. Give me power when I ask for it, but don't surprise me with it.
