i just bought a 06 - couple question issues

Yep... I did that for a while until I decided to replace the motor.

Look a the procedure documented in this link.

All you have to do is
  1. Take the plastic cover out
  2. Unplug the motor
  3. Remove the two big HEX screw on each side.
  4. Adjust the steering at the position you want by screwing in or out the motor
  5. Put everything back together except don't plug the motor... You don't want it to start moving and failing again in a awkward position

thx going to attempt this weekend.

i am really good at taking stuff apart.... getting it back together..not so much.
