I have an 2003 LS430 and I was wondering if this would be compatible with the vehicle

Like the master key with out the remote? I just purchased a car but it only has the solid key without the microchip and buttons I'm looking for a remoteless key uncut so I can bring it to Lexus and have them program and cut it for me

If this is what your ignition looks like:

Then you would need this remote:

If you just have a regular key slot ignition, then you don't have the key-less start option. And yes, the provided key in the picture should work wth your car after it is cut to your VIN # and programmed to work on your car. \

Forgot if there was an instruction set of how to program a remote key to the LS430...

If you have a standard key then it will be fine. If you don't and have the smart ket system it will not work. Sounds like you have a standard key.

If your car does NOT have the smart key system the key you orderd will work fine. This is not confusing. Do you see the difference between the keys pictured in this thread? The one you listed is a regular key. The one king listed is a smart key. Pick the key that looks like the one you already own. The answer is based on what option your car came with. Does you car have smart key or not?

You have an '03 -- which wasn't available with Smart Access. The 3-button key you ordered will work, AND there are self-programming instructions so you won't need a dealer (or Techstream) to program it. You will need to have the key cut though.
