Default Side mirror issue

I started having clicking noises coming from my right passenger mirror. Every time I crank on the car it would act as if it is opening the mirrors(making clicking noises) but the mirrors are already out. Has anybody had this issue? Any help is appreciated

If you're not using the retracting (folding) feature for your mirror, the easiest thing to do is to turn off the auto-fold. Please see picture for switch location. If that doesn't stop the clicking, the next easiest thing to do is to unplug the folding motor. Please be sure to tape the plug to prevent shorting.

Thanks for your reply. That's the thing that's weird. I have the switch off and it is still trying to open. I guess I will have to unplug the motor this weekend. Thanks for your help
