I just picked my car up from a audio video shop, that did my tints..,i go there all the time actually worked there for few years in my college days and know folks pretty good.

The memory seat buttons are unresponsive, the door lock unlock buttons are unresponsive/ seat belt up down buttons not working on both sides.. Window buttons work. (everything is illuminated)

I picked my car up just when they closed but i called the guy up and asked him if they took any door panels off. According to him negative. Now i know these guys for more than 10 years and pretty much all my cars go to them for something or the other i have no reason not to trust them. But this is weird..everything was working before i dropped or at least till yesterday

So i just bought this car about little over a week ago from lexus dealer in PA- checked everything in and out-

maybe battery is dying? or fuse?

 

Maybe something got wet from the tinting process. Too much water and soap. Most likely related.

 

car is acting weird, wont turn the auto lights off when locked
from fob...i am thinking the same thing, if water is to blame how to fix it? i have to take apart the panels and dry or t he circuit is fried

 

Let it dry over night and do a reset by pulling the negative.

 

Took the battery wires out..didnt work is there a certain fuse I should be looking at? Power door is mentioned in about 5 places in manual

 

ok so when i just put in a new battery , things worked for about 1 min..they same again. i checked all the fuses everything, nothing it out of the ordinary. could it be the alternator??

 

That's really weird. Why not tun by pep boys or similar and have it tested. I would think you would get a check engine light or something if your alternator is going out.

 

so i let the car parked outside, in the sun it was almost 80+ outside here, for 4 hours went out tested everything works. Still is working (my finger crossed) -

Probably water went somewhere it shouldn't have causing all this..i almost started looking for ls460s ..lol, also took the card/vallet key out of the glove box
