On two or three occasions now I have gone to my car in the morning and discovered that my drivers seat along with the steering wheel and seat belt adjustments have changed. I start the car and hit the memory setting and everything goes back to where I had it set. I first thought I was going mad but just this morning I discovered it had done it again. Has anyone else had this issue? I am the only person who has a key for the car.

 

Sometimes i get out of my car i accidentally hit the seat memory button and didnt realize it until i entered again.
reaching for the inside door latch its easy to hit one of the memory buttons with your hand..

 

The car has to be on for the seats to move, though. When you get out, you shut the car off first .

 

Sorry,the car does NOT have to be on for the seat to move when you push a memory set button.

 

I have a 2021 model. Shut the car off and the wheel goes in and the seat goes all the way back. Get in the car and start it or put the seat belt on and the seat and steering wheel move to there programmed position.
