Default Good deal for 2006 LS 430 base?

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum and finally making the switch to a Lexus vehicle. I stumbled upon a 2006 LS430 base model, Crystal White, 48k miles, and it's owned by an old lady who can't drive anymore and going to a nursing home. Asking price is $20,500. Car is in immaculate condition, drives like a dream, always garaged and serviced by Lexus. Is this a good price? Price is better than KBB, but a little higher than Edmund's. Please help! TIA.

Always garaged has a nice ring to it! I see nothing wrong with talking em down on the timing belts service supposed to be done at 7 years then pocket the money for a couple years. Bluetooth is hit or miss, back up camera is ok but you can just use yur mirrors, nav is just ok, base stereo is decent. Check it out and make sure it all works. Tires ok brakes ok otherwise more room to negotiate.

Try to negotiate a little but otherwise get it. Such cars are hard to come by. I would rather spend a little extra for a car that I like rather than try to save a little and have things bother me during the ownership.
Having said that this is still a good price. Quick search ion Autotrader for a similar car will tell you that. Get it before someone else gets it. Do self inspection as well as dealer inspection for peace of mind.

****** that car up before someone else gets it. Low mile cherry condition 2006 is as good as it gets. Base model is my preference still has lots of great options on it.

This is my clearly biased opinion, if you are buying the car to drive for the next 5-7 years, I actually prefer the premium optioned model because it has some great options but does not have the obsolete grainy NAV, ML stereo with cassette, and other non essential options that may break and are expensive to repair on a 7+ year old car.

looking around that seems to be a good deal at the price it is, but try and negotiate it will only sweeten the deal

Thanks for everyone's comments. I bought it for $19,500 today and amazed by all the features including all the interior lighting. This will be one fun car to mod.
