Driver Door Window Motor Fail
Sorry if this one's a repeat but...
My driver side window motor seems to have a mind of its own.
It will go down just fine, but when I attempt to put the window up - its sluggish, it sometimes stops midway and may even go back down a little if I don't keep my finger on the button.
If it does stop mid way, I have to wait a few minutes, then attempt to put it up. It's like the motor is a living organism that runs out of energy, but if you give it a rest it will eventually go back up.
Happens especially on hotter days.
Any ideas guys?
BTW $550 for a new motor, w/ Sewell discount $330.

Nothing you can do about it but replace the motor. You can try to lube the tracks but that probably won't help much.
Also I suggest you replace the motor and regulator at the same time when you do replace it. When you put a new motor on a old regulator, all it's going to do is stress the regulator out more.
Good luck.
