Is it possible to separate the window regulators from the motors? I didnt see anything in the search, and junkyard hunting is a pain when i cant tell if the motor is working or not until its home. Thoughts?

edit: also if anyone is looking to sell, i need the driver side.

 

i got mine off ebay for $50 a piece working if that helps...... pretty sure you can separate motor from reg..... theres a thread on here some where about replacing the motor

i searched using your verbiage instead of mine and found that they are (or at least the rear is).

UGH i tossed the old motor/regulator a few days ago thinking they were inseparable. Time to suck up some of that pride and go check the dumpster! lol shucks.

Usually, if the motor is bad, then one of the brushes are bad. I pulled a brush from one in the junkyard and fixed mine. Even easier then changing the motor, just take off the 2 screws (IIRC) and there you go.
