window motor
Anyone know where I can get a front driver side window motor for a 92 ls400? My window is stuck halfway. It made a real bad grinding noise and then just stopped working. All the other windows work, so I assume its the motor. Is it a pain to take the door panel off and replace the motor?

i had this happen pn a buick lesabre. when i questioned whether it was the reguolator or the motor, the guy explained that usually the regulator goes, then that burns out the motor.
i got a used unit off the net for $50 then had elite auto glass put it in. they take doors apart all the time. i think they charged $70. no sweat. no brain damage.
