i am color blind but want something that stands out, however not a complete clash of colors,, is this just bad or cool??? ^ ^ ^

I was thinking maybe a pearly champagne/silver/white-ish color instead.

maybe like this color sorta:

Just back away from the photoshop...

I'd stick with black, graphite, silver, chrome, and combinations thereof with maybe a colored rim stripe.

It wouldn't look that bad but that V8 badge has to go.

That orangish color does not look good on there at all.

Stay away from the orange unless you are just out to shock people.

I second, third, fourth and fifth the sentiment.... stick with the basics (silver, gray, etc). I agree with SRT... the V8 makes you look like you are in relentless pursuit of an older S class....

I do have one question... how did you get the blinkers on the mirrors? I am not much into aftermarket but that is a nice touch....

i will not be taking off the v8 symbols as long as i own the car, but thanks again for all the constructive criticisms. old v12 s600 yes it does sort of take from that concept but that was a v12 not a v8.

in japan our celriors regularly have a little emblem in this exact location, but its a weird little symbol and not a v8.

i once had a guy at an auto shop ask me if my car was a v8 v12??? huh

seem like i'm gonna be keeping it more simple and not going with the gold (apparently they are copper and not orange in real life but the camera keeps picking up some orange tones )

For what it's worth, it was obvious to me that was copper in color... still awful looking, but copper.

I would also like to know the source of the blinker side mirrors. Very nice.

Doesn't go well with your body color...that color would go with something like red, blue, white, or black.

the side view mirrors were purchased through a CL vendor by the name of nigel_jdm i believe. the parts weren't that much, but the installation sucked a little. i paid like $550 when it was all said and done.
