Default Steering effort adjustment

I find the steering on my LS430 too heavy. I owned LS400's and they have lighter steering effort when making turns. Is there any way to adjust the power steering system to lighten the steering ?
Appreciate any help on this as I have bad shoulders. Thanks

Same question! I just switched from Avalon to LS430 and the steering weight is noticeably heavier.

You can adjust the steeringt rack guide screw and that will enable some slack in the system... also consider flushing the rack with Trans fluid (Dex?Merc III/IV in the manual) to ensure you have best viscosity. Other than that, I'm out of ideas... good luck!

I have found the replacement of the steering fluid has made mine lighter. not ton's - but better.
