New owner, and fixed my windshield squirters!
Hi, I just got my new (old) 2002 UL last week. I'm nervous about all the fancy features. The car has been wonderful so far, with one exception - I discovered (AFTER I bought the car) that neither the windshield or headlight squirters would work. The reservoir was full. This afternoon I dug the LH wheelwell liner loose to find the squirter pumps. Checked for voltage at the plugs, checked fuses, gave up, squirted the connections with "corrosion block" marine moisture displacing compound and reassembled everything. Hah! It fixed both squirters! I guess the connectors were slightly crudded up from the wheelwell location. I can't believe I blindly found the problem...but I'm sooo relieved. I had visions of dealer charges and killer manhour fees.

West Marine sells it here. I saw it recommended on a Volvo owners site long ago. I've used it on all my connectors ever since. It's supposed to be safe for printed circuit boards. I always hose down battery terminals with it also.
