I acquired the Maintenance Req'd light and Check VSC lights on my 2004 LS430. I pulled the codes and got a P0051 indicating the right front Oxygen sensor was bad. I replaced the sensor with a Denso unit with much help from folks on this forum. I started the car and still have the Maintenance Reg'd light. The Check VSC no longer comes on and their are no codes. I've tried clearing the light with the odometer but to no avail. The Nav unit still shows many miles before an oil change required. Any suggestions?
Maintenance required means that you are scheduled for an oil change per the last time the computer was reset. Reset the maintenance required light and you will be good to go.
Thanks much. I had tried to reset through the odometer from another thread and it didn't clear the message. They left out the "Hold down The Reset Button" portion. Once I did that it cleared the message.
Thanks for the help!
