Hell Yeah! Thanks for the link. I will probably go with LED mirrors lights. I get off for vacation next month for a whole week. Yay!

Just so we're on the same page, are you talking about where the mirror housing pivots where it attaches to the door??

Yes, that is correct. In my particular instance there was too little gap so the plastic pieces were rubbing as it turned. I'm sure there is some contact normally, but mine had so much resistance it couldn't fully retract the mirror.

Some how messing with the mirror, it started working normally. I'm not gonna push my luck by testing it out right now.... Are these mirror types NOT able to take a "break away", and still function right after you bump into them?? If not, bad design IMO.

Not uncommon, and one of very few weak spots in the 430's engineering.
