When I have the mirrors set to auto adjust down when in reverse the passenger side doesnt tilt down enough. How do I adjust it?

 

You can adjust it with the regular mirror controls, but when it tilt back up, it will be too low. The Lexus tilt function is a fix amount of tilt. If the gears are strip, then it will not tilt as much when in reverse.

 

Thanks. Thats what i needed to know. My passenger side definitely doesnt tilt down as much as my drivers side. (my driver's side mirror is new)

I did a search and apparently the side mirrors are a common problem with the 3gs as well as other lexus models. Now Im a little worried my passenger side mirror is close to needing replacement.

I already replaced the drivers side and they told me had I not been under warranty it wouldve been over $900 in parts and labor
