Default Side mirrors

When I first got the car, the side mirrors (both the driver and passenger side) tilted down every time I put the car in R but couple days ago it stopped doing that. Anyone knows what setting, if it exists, controls that function? Thanks in advance!

Make sure either the L or R button is lit.

You can also adjust how they tilt by adjusting them when you are in reverse.

Wow...first off thanks a lot! Never thought that would be the reason lol cuz I usually make sure none of the L or R lights up so I won't accidentally adjust the side mirrors

I do the same and turn it off when not adjusting. I find the "birds eye" view of the cameras make it super easy to park in tight quarters.

Default Outside Mirror Tilt

When I put car, RX350. in reverse, the passenger side outside mirror tilts downward but the drivers side does not move. Is this by design or do I have a problem.
Thanks

Nothing wrong with your car. The default is just passenger side, you can adjust both mirrors to tilt to what you want. Put the car in reverse, adjust both mirrors to what you want, put the car back in park, save settings by press M and number, and make sure that either L or R is lit.

Default How to adjust mirrors when in reverse?

This has to be a typical noob question but I just don't see any menus/options for it.
How can I adjust how much mirrors move when I'm in reverse?

Both of them are set to completely different settings. Driver's side goes down so much I think I can see my front wheel lol while pass side mirror barely moves down at all. At this point both are useless while driver's side is literally slowing me down from moving forward as it takes forever to come back up hence I can't see if there's a car moving by me as I'm trying to get out of a paralel parking space. There has got to be a way to adjust that.

Adjust them while in reverse. It's that easy.

If you move the left and right tab in the middle the mirrors do not reverse down while in reverse.

If you move it to the left or right, they move down in reverse and allow you to adjust how much it moves while you are in reverse.

I leave it in the middle because of the pano view monitor for me it eliminates needing to look at the side mirrors. Also, the wear and tear on the plastic cogs over time do break.

When you are in reverse, just adjust the mirror to the position you want them.

Clarification on the reversing mirror position feature:
Only cars with memory systems do it, But...
The reversing positions are Not saved in the memory 1/2/3...

As described above, set each mirror while in reverse by selecting
each mirror one at a time. Centering the rocker (or turning off the
selector lights) will disable the function. If either mirror position is
selected all drivers will get the preset position.

Default Side mirror not going down in reverse.

So I’ve had this feature on every car for a decade so I’m definitely doing it right. I have it on R so the mirror will show the curb when parallel parking. My passenger side mirror goes in but not down, then my drivers side mirror goes down but not in. Weird electrical gremlin, she’s a 19 RX350 with 6K miles that I’ve had since new. It definitely worked before last couple of months it’s been acting up. If I put it on L it does the same thing too, has anyone experienced this before?
