Just bought my interstate battery from Costco this month. Hopefully I won't have to deal with any battery issues for 3-4 years.

1) should I buy new batt ?
2) should I jump start it and see if that works ?

I could have stopped reading after "Wife drove the car".

I've noticed that my 2005 LS will drain the battery very quickly if I'm sitting in the car with the radio on and the engine off. I would be curious how many others have issues with batteries going dead.

Well wife isn't allowed to touch the other 7 cars. LS is ok

I have listened to my radio 1 hour car not running no issues

Battery draining quickly with radio on / engine off is a symptom of a faulty alternator. Battery isn't being fully charged when engine running.

I've checked the alternator with a alternator tester and it looked fine.

I even checked the voltage on the battery and it seemed fine.
