Problem with Passenger Rear View Mirror
I have a 2004 LS 430 which will be out of the extended warranty in November and I have had the following re-occurring problem with multiple passenger rear view mirrors.
When the car is put in reverse and the mirror lowers, intermittently the mirror will travel down and then it will jerk inward, like something is binding. I would guess it might happen 10% of the time.
I have had 3 mirrors replaced and the dealer says they are replacing the compete assembly so I don't understand how this can be happening on multiple mirrors unless there is a problem with the manufacturing of this mirror.
If anyone has had similar experiences with this I would appreciate hearing from you before the warranty runs out.
