BC Racing BR Type Coilover for LS430
BC Racing BR Type Coilover for 00-07 Lexus LS430
i was looking around online and everywhere i look i get the same thing...
Here come the questions, and i did search all topics for about 2 hours
had almost all questions answered except following...
Are all of the years really use same set of coilovers?
Do i need to get rear upper control arms to correct camber if i lower?
What about correcting camber in the front?

1. If I'm not mistaken all coilovers from 2001-2006 LS430's are interchangeable. They should all bolt up.
2. Dropping the car will change the camber angles. To adjust the rears, you can replace the lower control link to shorter or longger ones to adjust camber. (3 different lengths). Keep in mind if you do this, you NEED to adjust the toe.

3. The fronts can be adjusted by turning the adjustment bolt on the lower control arm.
*If you need more or less camber in the rear than the factory can provide, they have aftermarket upper and lower control arms but it's EXTREMELY expensive.

great link how the heck did i miss it, but im now confused..
wouldn't that pull the wheel in and make the rear wheels overall closer together
but what about the front?
will it have enough adjustment from the factory?
do the coilovers come with camber plates?
(couldn't find a definite answer online, every pic had dif tops)
im planning on going down 3" and using 19"-20" wheels

You cannot adjsut camber via a top-amber plate on the Lexus cars, they are A-Arm setups and do not allow it.
Depending on how low you go you may be able to adjust camber via the stock adjsutments.
If you have any more questions or want some help/pricing on a BC kit, shoot us a PM

i just bought a set of these rear lower control link things and just found out i am selling my rims and possible the whole car here in a couple weeks. i just got the box on my door from carson last night and haven't even opened it up. i tried to see if i could return but its not worth the hassle... if anyone wants to purchase these from me it will be less than getting them from carson

#18 is replaced to adjust the camber. I used a longer arm so I would get MORE negative camber. If I wanted to correct my camber, I would have gone with shorter arms.
Like I said there are after market companies that make adjustable #18, 10 and 14 arms but theyre extremely expensive. And If the camber is to way out of spec where the toe arm (#14) cannot correct it using the factory adjustment, you'd need to get an aftermarket adjustable one.
Like CircuitMS stated, adjustable acmber plates won't work on our suspension setup.
