I have an 05 LS430 and now that its warmer outside the rear sunshade squeaks when going up/down. Is this normal and what is the preferred method of lubing? I just had my mirrors and smartkey system fail so if I can prevent breakage I am all for it. If there's no problem then I'm not too worried.

I hear a very minor squeak on mine at the same point in the movement you mentioned. And similarly it did begin with the onset of spring weather. I think it might be a plastic part expanding with the temp and I'm not overly concerned by it. With that being said I'd be interested to find out how to lube it for preventative measures.
