find some 4300K bulbs to match stocks. However, the best way is to change all four at the same time if you really want them to match perfectly as HID bulbs colorshift over time.

these are the ones you need (xtreme 4300k). http://www.kbcarstuff.com/HID_Kits_s/216.htm. i have them on my fogs for about 1 year now with zero issues and they match my oem's nicely. i think theres a write up somewhere on FAQ on installation.

ddm tuning also has a good reputation with the bmw and motorcycle forums for their HID kits http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p...parent=85&pg=1

i suggest the 55w kit

I have used a oem kit (Toyota ballasts/phillip bulbs) with the bulbs rebased to fit into our fogs and the match isn't 100% perfect but it's close though. I have also used a aftermarket kit and I get the same results. Both were 4300k my best bet is getting 5000k

Sojah, I think you are right about the housing. It will be pretty cool looking, but may be offensive to oncoming traffic, unless, you retro fitted some sort of sheild. I am looking to get some yellow fogs for my LS at some point. Might want to do capsules, or just take the easy way out and get some yellow bulbs.

heres one..sorry, i dont have any night shots. what you need to do is adjust the fogs so it wont blind others. the light adjusting bolt is on the back next to were the bulb sits (10mm nut).

Ultra, do you have any kind of real cutoff with those HID's in the fog housing? I understand that you can adjust the angle via the 10mm bolt, but if there is a fair enough amount of glare out of them. all the adjustment in the world wont' do squat to focus them. years ago, on my maxima, I retro fitted some HID's into the 9004 housing. While it was bright, I was lighting the treetops, After a while the novelty was gone and went back to halogens. On the other hand, yellow HID fogs would look amazing...and the truth is, in stock form, even though the pattern is right, the lights don't do THAT much... It sure would be nice to have HID's and have a second perfect dispersion for the fogs.

thanks for the pic 06UL.. now i have some more questiosn.. i am wanting to justify this mod for me and well when i replaced my fog bulbs with those 6k ones they look really cool when looking at the car head on but i lost a lot of functionality over even the stock bulbs. i just don't want to go from less functionality to also less functionality and spend a couple hundred in the process. did you go from stock to these hid ones? if so did you notice any improvement or degradation at all??? if you are sitting on a dark road with just your normal headlights on and then you turn on your fogs does it light up a lot more of the road? also do oncoming cars flash their brights at you ever for having such bright lights?? thanks,

do you think you might be able to get a night shot from head on looking at the car from about 30 feet, also one from inside the car looking out at night? if so thanks a bunch.
