Question Changing Fog Lights

Hello Everyone,

I pretty new to this CL thing and just need some opinions from local people.

I want to change my fog lights to match my HID's. I have been doing research and trying to find the best looking bulbs. I don't like the yellow lights and would prefer them being blue. What do you all think.

Here is what I was looking at:

or these bulbs

Let me know what you all think. Thanks.

you should go with HID fog, Because you dont want to burn the harness. Or you can buy HIR bulbs

The blue coated halogen bulbs will not match your factory HIDs, and the yellow coated ones will most likely give you a washed out yellow look.

An exact color match is quite hard, but a kelvin match is possible.

Look into H3 re based Phillips 85122+ bulbs and you will be happy...or very close to it!

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=223728 <-- heres the DIY thread.

Let me give you some advise:

1. Go slow, take your time, dont get excited/fustrated and start to rush. When the finger cramps come, just suffer thru it and i'll say it again, go slow.
2. Have cheepo laytex gloves you can get from the drug store OR from your murder kit

Drivers side: Yes there is an access hatch but the wires are short so all the work will be done by touch, lie on your back and do it over your head = this will help in plugging the new lite into the harness, wear laytex gloves for this side cuz you WILL be touching the bulb when you try to put in/lock in the new bulb.

Passenger side: Just follow TAMR_GUS98 instructions, my clips were different from his so be careful.

Final note: Make sure you double check that the lites are locked in, the next day after i installed my lites i noticed that the passenger side was not locked in and had moved, since i was familiar with the procedure having done it the other day for the first time it took about 2min to correct.
