I've been lurking on the 460 board and I'm seeing a fair share (more than what I was expecting) of owners that aren't head-over-heels with it and look forward to the end of their leases!

The grass isn't ALWAYS greener.....

The more electronic gizmos you got, the more the plumbing gets clogged up later. I would not go for all the goodies of the 460, just too many things to break and have to be mindful of.

I'll keep my 430 for a long while thank you...

Yeah, and the same holds true for the 430 too. From air suspension, to rear A/C and massage. Horse drawn carriage, there are only so many things that can break. Wheels fall off or the horse dies. On the LS460, there is probably no less than 100 sensors or something monitoring something else. I don't care how good a manufacturer is, SOMETHING is going to break.

Just take my headlights. They self adjusted fine when I first got them. Then the passenger side started to not adjust upon startup. I had been meaning to bring the car in to get it looked at, but just didn't have time or think it too critical to get done now. Then last week, boom, it worked again.

Electrics just have too many gremlins that end up being both costly, and hard to isolate. My headlights, could easily be a loose connector, but the dealer will say "sorry, you need a new light"... boom $1000.

A few months ago my 06 LS430 Ultra had to go into the shop for a week. The manager gave me a new LS460 to drive. What a dirty trick!
I love my car but the LS460 is much imporved over my LS430.

i didn't know LS460 had auto pilot! thats really cool. I would definitely do the long wheel base fully loaded (but I need more choices in interior trim)...
