Dome Light Question
I did read the manual for this question but I must be getting old. There is like 5 for instances when the dome light will or will not go on when you simply open the door when the car is running or not.
Question is what do I have to do to have the dome light simply go on and off when I open and close the car door. I know the position has to be to the left under the "door" setting. AlexusAnja? Thanks in advance Bruce

Wow. I know the car is sophisticated, but this is a new one to me.
I always thought the "door" setting for the dome light would ALWAYS simply turn the light on when the door was open and shut off when the door was closed.
Sounds as if you're implying there's more to it than that? I'll stick around and see what variations there are?.......
One thing I know for sure---the bulb has to be GOOD.

I wish it was that simple maybe my light is broken. again there is a long list of when and won't in the manual. I thought of prefacing my post with "i hate to ask a stupid question"...anyway.
