Feedback on deal?
to put things into perspective, i almost took a deal in August that looked like this...
2004 LS430 White/Ecru 60k miles Ultra Luxury package with PCS. Car was CPOed too.
Car had been painted by Lexus affiliated shop, but they were selling for $28,800. I thought that was a great deal on an UL that was CPO.
Good luck!

is premium below ML,, if ML i say that is on the upper side of a good deal, not best but definitely a very very fair deal and if great condition i would say jump on it. depending on what color combo though...?
An 04, premium, cpo, 38k miles for $26g's is about 3g's too expensive imo. The cpo comes in REAL handy when the car is loaded with all the "extra" goodies..nav, air suspension, radar/laser cruise, etc. The premium doesn't have any of that. Aside from mirrors/switches, the "basic" parts of this car doesn't break much.
$23g's is a good buy. Since it's at a dealership, see if it's had all it's TSB's done on it..like the fuel filler neck, etc, and see what they say-how they react!

I've seen '03 CPO's for around $23K, '05 CPO's from So. CA w/ < 50K mi will run more, around $29-31K for the ML grade. '06's from CA run around $34-36K, depending on condition/mileage. When the economy was at the bottom about 1 yr ago, there were better deals. Now, prices have risen. Also, expect to pay quite a bit more for a vehicle from the Southwest, as there are no rust issues.

btw...these were the 04 & 05's that sold wholesale at Manheim on the 29th. Manheim/wholesale is probably the BEST and most accurate barometer/indicator for used car pricing....

Thanks again for all the replies. The car is in the Northeast. Are the Manheim prices regularly available? Where? Would be interesting to track. Any thoughts on whether there is a significant difference between the Levinson system and the "premium" one on this car?
I bought an 04 premiun, merc matallic and black with smart key and chrome wheels for $17,500 with 55 k on it a year ago. It was a calif. car I bought from a small dealer with all the Lexus maintanence reciepts clean carfax one owner. I drive 30 k a year it is almost ready for a t belt.
