Just a thought.

The LS400 fogs were very restrictive and didn't put out light at all. SKPerformance created a thread about it awhile back, and it worked well. It was probably about as bright after modifying them as the stock LS430 housing is now.

If you ever see an LS400 anytime soon with fog lights on, pay attention to how dull they are.

Hi Steve, does the 9006 Volt HID foglight kit ensure proper ignition every time? Are relays included or required for the LS430? Thank you.

Hi,

I would suggest going with the Xtreme HID kit as the ballasts have a lower starting draw.

ive had this problem too. Something to do with the polarity if i recall correctly.

No - it has to do with the ballast not getting enough power at startup.

If I don't use the Auto headlamp function (meaning my headlights and foglights are OFF during ignition), and if my foglights only ever turn on AFTER the car has been started, does the 9006 Volt HID kit light up correctly 100% of the time?

Due to the weak Canadian dollar, the Xtreme HID kit is rather expensive after converting from USD to CAD, so I'm looking for the most cost-effective 9006 HID kit that won't give me problems.

I should have asked this in my previous post - the 9006 Volt HID kit states "Wiring featuring proper 9006 connectors will be included so that you can easily plug the ballasts into your OEM 9006 headlight harness – plug+play application." - can you confirm that this kit is truly plug and play for the LS430, and that nothing else is needed?

I see XenonDepot is based out of Ontario. Can we negotiate a special deal for being in the same province? It would be great to minimize shipping and currency-exchange costs for the both of us, and then pass the savings on to the customer (me). Thanks!

Hi,

You will get 9006 connectors that will literally plug right into your OEM wiring.

Your best bet would be to take advantage of the current 10% off and free shipping offer. I understand that the exchange is tough right now - we buy in USD.

Hey! I am having the same issue but would like to keep my lights on auto... the module you are speaking of sounds really interesting! Do you have a link?
