Default HID foglight issue

Installed the HID fogs last weekend and its seems that im having a problem. JUst now i went out and started the car and saw that my fogs didnt turn on. I went inside and checked if it was off but it wasnt. I switched the fog light to off and then on and it turned on. So when i came back home i shut off the car and decided to see if it does again. I started the car and again it didnt turn on.

Am i supposed to wait for it to turn on or something??? Do u guys know what might have gone wrong.

Btw, i got the Volt 6000k from Xenondepot

sometimes that happens because of the automatic current draw varience from the stock fog light to the HID kit. when you installed your hid kid did you happen to add a relay.

this sometimes helps and also acts as a saftey

There might have been a relay since there was one balast and another small thing. I'll have to check the manual to see what that's is.

Shouldn't it turn on after a lil bit?

It might be the Volt kit that's the problem possibly? I bought a $33 eBay kit and it turns on with the car whenever I left in the low-beam thing or in Auto whenever it's dark. No relay is needed for the fogs either. The thing you see attached to the ballast on the wire is likely the ignitor since slim ballasts sometimes can't fit them in.

Have you tried to unplug everything and replug it back really tight or maybe swap some wires around.
