my center or third tail light is out and I need to replace the bulb,, before I start prying around on it wanted to ask how the cover is removed,,?? does it just snap into place or some special clips holding it on,,
Do a search for it... there was a long discussion on it a while back and switching over to LED. I had posted some pictures along too.
Basically, looking towards the back, just hit that sucker like Beyonce says "to the left to the left" and you'll loosen it, then flip it open and rest is "self explanatory."
thanks, will give a hit and see how it reacts,, sure did not want to start prying with a screwdriver and have something pop off inside then not be able to place back into position,,
Here's my post from another thread (actually the 3rd time I've posted it)
Well, I finally figured out how to remove the housing. You have to move it 1/2" to the left, then lift it straight out. Then you can remove the connector wire, and the bulb assembly to replace the bulb.
This is for an '02 430, but I think you're the same.
yep, a slight tap moving it to the left allows it to lift out easy,, they could have added another couple inches of wire though to allow teh unit to have mover freedom ov movement for easier removal of the bulb housing,,
