All of the differences in options aside I think the main difference is the "ride". My experience in driving a UL and a non-UL was the smoothness over rough pavement. OK it 's like riding on a cloud.
if by 'ride' you mean the road response feeling of actually feeling the road when you drive, then yes. to me when i press my little button to lower it say 3 inches then it feels like i am driving a bmw all of the sudden, and when i am on my daily commute from home to work or vice versa on the highway i put it back to a nice high soft cushy setting. it makes driving this big boat a lot more enjoyable for me at least. i feel like now i can have my cake and eat it to. plus very occasionally i drop it down pretty low and use the sport shifting and this car actually handles verry well for a big car plus the power of the car is finally realized a little more for me at least. i also have new brakes and rotors which makes my brakes feel upgraded as well (very strong responsive brakes).
well i raised my car up as high as it would go the other day and it was like riding on two clouds (or pillows more realistically) than one like how it normally feels, but the car looked really silly and was taller than like a subaru outback so i can't see many people riding around like this, but it could be vary useful when needing to go through the snow or high water (not that i've ever had to drive thorough high water; knock on wood).
