Options that I never heard of?
There is 2 different kind of radiators, it is label "with or without trailer tow". The with trailer tow one is $100 more. It make sense that the towing package would have an extra large radiator for the higher load, but my question is, anyone ever seen a towing package from Lexus for the LS430?

On the suspension, ignoring the air struts, for the conventional steel springs, we all know there is a sport package, but within the sport package, there is also something call a "rough road spec"? I am guessing it might be a softer spring or it lift the body higher. But the same question, anyone ever seen a LS430 with a rough road spec?

The second one i suspect is due to bigger anti-roll bars if im not mistaken.
Regular
Sport package without "rough road spec"
Sport package with "rough road spec"
I am pretty sure noone knows about all these, as the Lexus parts guy I just talked to didn't even know the sport suspension exist until I pointed it out to him. I figure I ask anyway, but it is not important, is not like my car need a bigger radiator or springs to travel on rough road.

Because Lexus engineering feels the front bar is big enough already for the sport suspension, and I feel the same way, go look at the front bar you got now, it is HUGE! I am sure Lexus think if you want it bigger, go call TRD

I am an OEM parts freak, it is the best engineered, so I want to know every parts available from Lexus. I only go aftermarket if OEM don't offer what I want.

That's why I went with lexus

That reminds me...I need to get an oil change. I'll definitely be looking for that big fat bar. I'll see if I can coordinate to getting that rear bar and bushings to get it installed while I'm at it.
Plus, there's not too many aftermarket stuff for the LS (thank goodness) as compared to the GS

Actually, there is just as much aftermarket stuff for the LS as compared to the GS. It is just that it is not popular to mod the LS to be sporty here in the U.S., so the vendor don't bring them in, which give you the feeling of nothing is available. But everything is available in Japan to turn a LS into a race car if you want. A set of coilover with the TRD sway bars and throw on all the stiffening braces, the LS can handle just as good as the best modded GS. The weight difference between a base model LS430 and a GS430 is pretty small, about 200~300 lbs, so with equal amount of mods, the LS can perform just about as good.

ha ha. j/k."Rough road spec" must have been the NYC/BQE package. Must have had a pothole sensor linked with the radar cruise.

The "rough road" option was perhaps meant for less developed countries where the roads are especially poor.
It is sometimes possible to see information on non-U.S. market options and accessories on the Lexus websites for other countries. A few minutes ago I looked at LS options on the Slovenia which shows one of my favorite non-U.S. Lexus options -- the Lexus Complementary for Bluetooth phones which appears to be the "Bury System 9" rebranded with a Lexus logo.
A fun website is the "techinfo" website for Europe - http://www.lexus-tech.eu - where you can see some interesting information without paying for a subscription ... including installation instructions for adding all sorts of stuff to an LS430 -- Canoe racks, bike racks, trailer hitches, headrest monitors, the Bluetooth Complementary Kit I mentioned, etc.
One of my pastimes when traveling outside the U.S. has always been to look for the weird $#!+ options available on cars in other countries.

That is what makes the whole JDM thing so interesting, it is because we don't have that stuff here.
If the battery is dead, you don't need gas anyways

I wonder why they don't have one for the front.
