Default Floor Mats

Went to my Lexus dealer in Dallas. Needed replacement floor mats for my 2005 LS430. The ones the dealer carried are far inferior in quality to the ones that came in my car and the ones in the new Ls460's on the showroom floor. Both dealers in Dallas agreed that the replacements they carry are not the same quality.. Can I find/buy OEM quality mats anywhere? Thanks.

Are they carrying "bootleg" replacement mats? The dealership should have original quality floor mats for around $250 or so. Call irontoad.com. I got mine off them and I think it was about $150 for the four.

Default Irontoad

Thanks,

Irontoad does not offer OEM replacements.. No luck finding a source for good quality mats at any cost. Anyone else have a suggestion?

Default These are the best floor mats period.

A little pricey but worth it. They fit the 430 perfectly, no modifications needed.

Try Ebay, I bought a set for my old 01 LS430 UL for around $120, and they are OEM quality.
Just get the ones for LS460.

You have to call them. The mats are not listed on the site as normal item. Irontoad is an actual dealership in Maryland or Delaware somewhere. They go by a different name once the item ships. They don't list everything on the site, just your "typical" items for purchase. You can write to them for price quote or call them. They have the mats, atleast they did last year when I got my '04 mats. The car place I got my '04 carried "Lexus' mats but they were generic non-OEM with the "Lexus" etched on, but it was far interior.

Anyway, call them if you haven't already, they'll give you a quote and part number for it.

I believe the key here is that the OP said that the dealer didn't "carry" the OEM floor mats. That may be the case, but they should be able to get them (i.e. you should be able to order them from the dealer). The CL vendoe Sewel should be able to get them for you at a 10% discount too I believe).

Also, look up the thread that BNR34 posted about 7 months ago regarding the fit and feel of the LS460 plush mats. If you are looking for OEM plush, you may want to consider that option.

I purchased a set of LS430 Lexus OEM floor mats for my 2002 still in the Lexus factory sealed plastic in 2003 for around $40 off ebay a couple years ago. Worth checking out.

To get OEM replacement mats for my base model LS430, you have to find "premium" or
"ulta luxury" mats at the dealer.. All others, and I have checked them, are inferior knock offs supplied by Lexus. Visited Sewell Lexus, they have both kinds, but only a few of the Premium mats. Unfortunately they did not have gray replacements for my car and there is no order code in their system for what I need. Thanks for the leads.
