Default Quick Advice (about floor mats)

Hi Guys

I am happy to say I'm a new owner of pre-owned 2010 IS250 AWD.

I will be going in today afternoon to pick up the car from the dealer. I need your advice as to which mats to get. The dealer offered me one set of mats i can choose between the oem carpet mats or all-weather ones?

I tried to find the price for these mats on google but had no luck so any insight would be helpful.

Should i get the new carpet ones and get the all-weather ones from wal-mart or keep the slighty worn out carpet ones already in the car and pick up the all-weather ones??

didnt realize the dealers are back to selling all weather mats after they pulled them from the shelves due to the law suit. I would go with all weather mats, easier to wash and catches spilled fluids, plus better if it rains often in your area. Just dont place all weather mats on top of the oem mats.

Ditto.. I'd also get the OEM mats so that they clip into the floor. We don't want the mat slipping and causing any issues.

I think the carpet looks better - but all weather is more practical.

PS: A pre-owned 2010? The original owner must have been a pretty indecisive.

All-Weather looks very clean and are easy to clean, not to mention they take care of the interior quite well, I can't imagine my car without them

I would also recommend all-weather mats.

Congrats on the car. I would go with the all weather mats. They work great when it rains and snows. You also dont have to worry about the mats building any mold or anything spilling on it. Cleaning the all weather mats is very easy too.

Me too (23,000 mi). They should give you BOTH the carpet mats, and all weathers--no charge. If I had to pay for all weathers, I'd go to mats.com
