mxv4primacy tires for 04 ls
I am toying around with tossing these Michelin tires on my LS and bailing on my Goodyear Comfortreds which still have 8 /32 left(they are quiet and smooth). I have the stock 17 x 7.5 rims and do not really want the expense to upgrade to larger rims. They are 225/55/17 H rated tires.
Has anyone gone to a V rated tire versus the H rated tire and what tradeoff and benefit would be expected. thanks

V rating and H rating has to do with the maximum speed capability of the tire. The ratings are used so that you can pick replacement tires to match the speed capabilities of your car. So I don't understand exactly what your looking for.

H is the replacement rating for the car. I imagine going to a v rated tire it is composed different for higher speed which generates heat. The sidewall must be reinforced,maybe the tread compound is different. Typically will a v rated tire corner better and have a firmer ride? Has anyone changed speed rating H to V? Hope this clarifiies things. Thanks

run them on my 05 UL and love them,, the OEM Dunlops are no where near the same tire for ride and quietness,, when the wife even comments on them I know there is something different,,
