Question Tire Size Question

Anyone have any experience with 245/45-18" tires on an LS 460 SWB? Would they improve performance over the standard 235/50-18"

IMHO you are talking about a rounding error difference in those two tire sizes which will make no difference.

overall diameter around 0.6", it will affect your speedo a bit (stated speed is faster than your real speed) but shouldn't be big problem. wider tires, a bit better handling maybe

Question Thanx!

I've heard that Michelin Pilot A/S tires get loud as they wear.
I've heard that Yokohama ADVAN S.4 Tires are much quieter and last much longer than Michelin.

Anyone have any experience with either tire?

CR rated the Michelin Pilot ps/2 as tops along with the Pirello Nero....these are for ultra performance summer tires....for all season, they rated Faulkin and Nitto as the ones to beat....michelin a/s got low ratings....
