What's Next w/ My LS430
Hello CL
I recently purchased an 01 LS430 with ML, NAV and the 17in chrome wheels.
My car had 114k miles when I purchased it; I am now at 119k.
I have changed the following:The car rides fabulous. With the new MXV4s, the cabin is more quiet than an empty incubator!!!
- besides me needing to wax the window seals.
Is there anything else I should focus on? I own a 98 Toyota Camry (253k mi) and am aware the Toyota vehicles do not usually break down if you take care of the usuals.

Do you mean just maintenance, or things to add? If just maintenance, throw in some fuel injector cleaner. Flush and fill the tranny if you don't know when it was last done. How about rear diff. fluid? How are the brakes? Feel firm or soft? Perhaps a bleeding and some fresh fluids?
If adding things, I would say window tinting, 18" wheels, and drop the car (if you like the low ride).

Almost forgot - I had a major brake job done. All pads were replaced with OEM replacements, three calibers were "rebuilt" with new parts - one was replaced new. System was flushed - xyz. I got the rotors machined vs. replacement.
I have not looked at the transmission or rear differential fluids. I am getting mixed feelings about draining the tranny vs. flushing it - any thoughts??
My power steering fluid looks very old and its jet black - so I know it needs to be done. The glass is already tinted - can't replace the rims because I just bought the MXV4s.
i would just say drain and fill transmission fluid as opposed to flushing it. i have heard a few horror stories about old transmissions that hadn't had regular fluid maintenance and someone comes along and flushes it out after like 120k miles and about 10k miles later they end up having to replace it. they say there is a science to it, but saving a lengthy explanation i hear its risky.
