Default My "Fixxer upper" 01 LS430 UL Project car

Well guys its been a while since i been on here, i used to have a 06 GS300 which i ended up selling some time ago, now i am back with a older yet more plush Lexy a 2001 LS430 w/ UL package. This car does need some work but i got it so cheap it was to be expected. $6553.12 is what it cost out the door. Probably easily one of the cheapest LS430 regardless of any trim that was for sale at the time that was even halfway decent shape. So far ive done every bit of missing maintenance, fixed the oil leak, timing belts, water pump, oil seals, air filter, trans flush, coolant flush, diff service, spark plugs, brake flush, all belt tensioners and drive belt. What i have left is control arm bushings next, and possibly coilovers since sooner or later the air suspension will take a dump, then wheels and tires. Anyways onto the pictures:

The day i picked it up:

excellent. You did it the right way...dirt cheap, even if you paid someone to do that stuff you're still ahead of the game big time. Assuming this thing isn't 300k miles already, you now have a fundamentally luxurious, reliable car for many many years and miles to come, for what, say 10k all in?

looks like a great car, good color, interior is mint too

ill never understand why everyone leaves out the mileage all the time, its one of the most important things regarding a used car.

133,903 at the time I signed for it close enough though. right now it reads 134,570 it ran very well to Vegas.

I avg 24.2mpg the whole trip, would that be about what I should be getting? Seems fair for a 2 ton car with a V8 doing 75

I've pretty much finished everything it needed and I've only dropped 1k including labor. Of course I cheated because I get all the parts at cost :P and labor at $25 a hour.
