Is there a way to adjust the automatic door locks so that all four doors unlock when shifting the gear selector into park? Only my car's front doors unlock. Thank you.
I would say that something is wrong. If I'm not mistaken, the only two "unlock" options are unlock all once put into "P", or unlock doors once car put into "P" and driver's door is unlocked within 10 seconds. I don't remember anything that said unlock just the front doors when put into "P." I could be wrong.
Whichever it is, this isn't something that can be done from home. It's a CBEST setting that the dealer has to do.
I am guessing something is wrong with your car also, AlexusAnja was correct, this would be a C-best setting done by the dealer only, but there isn't an option to just unlock the front doors only.
The 2 unlock options are:
1, Unlock all doors once shift into "P", when the ignition is on.
2, Unlock all doors once shift into "P" if the driver's door open within 10 seconds after turning the ignition off.
does it cost you anything when you take it to the dealer to have these settings done?
The 1st setting is free when you buy a brand new car. After that, my dealer charge me 1/2 hour of labor to change any setting, which is about $55. Unless your service advisor is REALLY nice to you and just do it for free, or if you just want to change one setting, they might just do it real quick for free.
I normally figure out every setting and do it once for $55 and be done with it. I just got our SC430 done.
Thank you to all who responded to my question. It was a dealer programing issue. They reprogramed the automatic locks for me and now all four doors unlock when I **** the car into park. There was no charge.
Again, thanks for your responses.

Did you mistype "shift" ? You got censored.
Also, thanks for info. I did not know that just unlocking fronts was an option.
