Default Doors Unlock Upon Opening Driver's Door Possible?

Don’t want them to unlock every time I put the car in Park, but is there a way to program the doors to unlock when the driver’s door is opened, whether or not the car is running!? Not sure what I'm doing wrong; they're already set to open upon driver's door opening...

The other doors will unlock when the driver door is opened within 30 seconds of turning the ignition off.

When set to unlock when put into Park, all doors unlock, when the ignition is on.

Would like them to do same when the driver's door is opened, even when the ignition is on.

Right, when the shifter is set to park the doors unlock. The other option is for the doors to unlock when the drivers door is opened within 30 seconds of turning ignition off. Unfortunately there are no more options other than those two.

Even more annoying is that once out of the car while still on, we can't even use the remote to unlock the doors. What am I missing!? If the car's in Park, can't be a safety issue, as we have the option for the doors to unlock every time the car is put into Park, which is a serious safety issue in an of itself (when traveling in a questionable area).

Thanks for your post!

Yes, I have same set to "By Driver Door". But, unfortunately, the car has to be off for it to work, unlike, the "By Shift to P", where they unlock whether or not the car is on or off. Doesn't make sense.
