Hey i was thinking about some new wheels come summer time and i was looking for a few suggestions. Whats the characteristics of a luxury wheel? A VIP wheel? I know its big lips & what else? Pics are appreciated!!
And the other question is tint. Whats your opinion on tint? Like it or not? At some point your gonna say hey i'm too old for this, and i want people to see me in this car. But on the other hand i still want it. Sometimes i just dont want to be seen...ya know...... Thing bout that is if i get it i dont wanna go light. Its either super dark or nothing.
I love tint and living in the south it is mandatory on my rides! We have tint laws here so we can't go but so dark without getting a ticket, I would not go limo but dayum close.
LIP doesn't equal VIP. It's about fitment and stance first. There are tons of wheels that are considered so called "VIP" wheels that do not have any lip.
Of course picking a wheel for your ride, it should compliment it. It shouldn't look awkward or strange on the car but at the end of the day it's your personal preference that prevails.

I agree. I have always had dark tint on my vehicles.
I still have the stock 17" on mine, so I'm not sure about wheels and what to get. As for tint, I'm getting then in Feb. (after Xmas shopping is paid off) and I first thought about 5% Limo for rear side and back (NJ only allows this much, legally), but after thinking about it and having driven at night about 30% of the time now, I might reduce to 15-20% instead.

Limo tint looks great during the day but is really hard to see out of at night. I have 20% all around and 35% on the windshield and sometimes it can be hard to see out at night.
Please don't buy these rims they're wack!! i'm sorry but i know that you can do so much better then these rims, they look like something from those rim financing ads in rides magazine
I agree with everyone that the type of wheels you posted is not for a lexus. Any chryslers or other domestics will do.
Vice versa that these jdm wheels won't look good in the domestics.
