Default Headlight problems

Recently i've been having some probs with my driver side head light. First of all, the light is white and the passenger light is blue. After driving my car for about 30 min the driver side light will flicker and later go out. I have no clue as of what’s causing this... I don't think it’s the bulb because it comes back on once I turn the lights off and back on.

Have any of you guys ran into this problem? If so, what actions did you take to fix it?

If you're positive it's not the bulb, then it's the ballast.
To be sure, switch the bulbs to the other side.

I'm assuming you're talking about the LS since you have an IS and GS in your profile.

Yeah, this thread is for the LS430.

I'll swap the bulbs when I get off work to make sure. And where would I buy a new ballast? If I have to replace the ballast, would that be an easy install?

Anything is easy if you've done it before
The ballast is located under the headlight and to get to it, you'll have to remove the bumper.

This is what a ballast looks like (if you haven't seen one):
It's enclosed inside the headlight cover.

Pictures stolen from ebay-this one showed the ballast removed:
