Default Headlight Issue Please Help!

Something is going on with my headlights where the passenger headlight turns off on its on and only comes back on if I turn the light on and off. I have seen the driver side do this too maybe once or twice.

I assume you have factory HID lights?

Usual troubleshooting for this is to swap the bulbs from side to side. If the problem headlight switches to the other side, it's the bulb, if it stays on the same side, it's the ballast. Since you are having problems on both sides (though less commonly on the driver side), the swap test would be less definitive than it usually is.

Bad bulbs are much more common than bad ballasts.

Guys I need a recommendation for bulbs on my IS350. Bulb and ballast. I will tear down and seal my DR side assembly, light is out. Thanks in advance.

Looks like its both sides I had both sides out and the lights flicker sometimes. What could this be?
