install me and my friend can do it ourself cost ? roughly the same i kinda like the clifford looks better but i use to have the 50.5 and it lag so i dont know if they fix that with the 3.3 yet or not just wonder if anyone on here have the 3.3

What lag are you referring to? I had a 50.5x installed on my 94 LS400 for about a year, and it was great. The range was awesome also.

It did require installing an antenna though, which I had to remove the back seat etc to wire..

Viper and Clifford are made from the same parent company. Their name: DEI. Great company. Great alarms. I personally also prefer the Clifford. Check Amazon.com for best prices, and have someone local (and VERY experienced) install it.

It might be good to get to know them first. *wink wink*

BINGO... i was about to say the same thing. It's all the same company.and he's right. Buy it online and get a local installer to put it in.

is it possible to keep the stock chirp when you install the alarm? i like the stock beeps* when you lock/unlock

the ls does not have a stock security system??? If yes, what is it? Will it disengage the starter?

this would be something that you would need to discuss with your particular installer. if it were me, i would definitely try my hardest to make it happen as i have a lexus and like that feature myself. only problem. i'm in va. you are in ca. fly me out there and pay my room and board, i'll make it happen.

so you think u can keep the stock beeps to make it work with the aftermarket alarm? all i need to know is which color wire to tap
