Can someone clarify the UCF30/31 for me? From what I know, UCF30 is '01-03 LS?

 

Good find However, make sure you are getting the correct harness that goes with your car as a new one runs about $200+ which would negate any savings. I'm personally always leery on buying used electronic parts unless I know the owner be it TV, computers, etc.

 

So it requires the box and harness?

Edit: That auction has the controller and harness, both new. I'm still trying to figure out the UCF30/31 difference.

 

This is from the Data System website. The ASC680 controller, which is the "best" controller made by Data System, uses the H-087D harness for "H12.9-15.7" which is the '01-03 models (H = Heisei years used in Japan). The '04 uses the H-087E harness for the ASC680 controller. Furthermore, the '01-03 can use the cheaper ASE663/667 controllers with the H-077D harness. It looks like an older model with fewer perks than the ASC680.

I ordered mine from L-Tune and waiting for it coming out of Japan. I have an 04 so mine would use the H-087E harness. They asked specifically my year so they can order the correct setup. Once again, fantastic find at a great price, save 300 bones.
