any updates on the people that didn't have any problems with these ?

I really want these bad, they look like the same ones that sell in japan. I don't understand why the problem is occurring. I sounds like it's the led's connections. the computer is not like it and throwing the warning light.

ok cool. but u sure the tail lights are working properly ? I don't mind the error light, I just want to make sure the tail lights work properly. It's a safety issue, and I don't want cops pulling me over for fix it ticket.

ok guys got it done, everything looks great. all led works and everything lights up properly. I just need to change the white signal lights to orange.

however there are a few things that I'm not sure of and don't know if it was included in some of your first sets that went around.

--The inner tail lamps attached to the trunk has an extra tiny little pin connection that connects to nothing. I'm not sure what it's for.

--and the set also comes with 4 1" x 4" rectangular looking block that attaches to the lamps attached to trunk. I only used two of them (one for each side attached to trunk) and have two extra. Are these the resistors ? did u guys get 4 of them
?

and that's about it, let's hope no problems

Here is a crappy picture but it should give you an idea on how to connect them. Basically I utilized all 4 resistors, 2 for each inner tail lamp. All wires are connected to each other by matching color of wires. They all have to plug into each other somehow. One resistor is connected to the other and the other to the lamp. Hope this helps.

BTW, where and how is everyone hiding their resistors?

thanks for the pic, I assumed all four of the resistors all had the same connection size, it wasn't an extra set. haha.

tail lamp warning light is now gone.

I used double sided tape and placed them in between the carpet and metal trunk. It holds it really snug once the carpet is snapped back in place.

just curious, those of you who bought this set a few months back. Was there only 1 resistor for both the upper and lower LED portions ? or were there two resistors-one for upper and one for lower ? maybe they blew because one resistor could not handle it ? I dunno just a shot.

Yup, I only have one set of resisters...I'll have to give them a call to get a new, updated set!
