same thing here, the brake lights work but it still keeps triggering the error signal on the dash.

It looks like a loose connection at the resistors...but it could be anywhere.

As an 06 owner I really like the LEDS very much. But man sorry for what you all are going through to get them. But, I guess, that is what this board is all about isn't it?

its okay it don't matter ENJOY your 06...i have been told the 01-03 led taillights look sexier that the 04-06 ...but i guess that's just people opinion right???
but i can get them changed out i purchased them from a near by store i just want to know what caused the problem.. because it was working fine when installed and after a month or 2 it started actting up like my first pair but i will try a couple of things to see if i can fix the problem on my own if not back to the shop they go.... I am just wondering could it be the vibration from my speakers causing them to trip out like that

I had the same problem with the tail lights. Everytime I braked the tail light failure kept coming on. All it was is the bulb connection is loose some where so I went back and tightened all the wires and it went away.

Well just finished installing my smoked LEDs from option racing and they look amazing. Hopefully I don't have any problems with them

So can anyone provide an update on reliability of the clear LED tails, which vendor sells the best ones (chinese vs. taiwan-made), etc...????? Confused about which vendor has which ones, and I need to buy ASAP.

I currently have the old style red/clear incandescent tails on my '01 that I got from Option Racing on Ebay a while back, and some biznitch backed into my car and broke one. So now looking to upgrade to the LEDs.

I purchased mine from Option Racing. No problems at all (knock on wood). Great product and I absolutely love them.
