i'd buy the clear regular ones OR the led ones...doesnt matter to me (although LED would be nicer)...I'm just not particularly fond of the orange strip on the stock tails...not on silver at least...i think the clear is cleaner and newer...cant wait to get a set

I would bet that they are the OEM LED lights. I say this because they come with the trunk lights as well. If they were just the cheaper replacements you wouldn't need to swap out your trunk lights.

unfortunately, they are not LED, just the regular halogen ones. The one from Japan is made in Taiwan, and the one that used to be on ebay or online stores are from China, looks the same, but the quality is different. I too can't believe the retail price Japanese company is asking for ( 2 versions, one with foglight and one without). I am not sure where the LED version is made, but according to SUPRATRD, it's from Taiwan. Although no pricing for those LED version yet, but I am guessing it's going to be in the ball park of $450- $550. I can't wait for SUPRATRD to let us know how much those lights would cost... early x-mas for me...lol

are you guessing $450 to $500 per taillight, or for a set of 2? If they are around the $500 range and plug and play, that would be a price I would be willing to pay...

spending thousands of dollars for tail lights just doesn't make any sense to me

Yeah, I am guessing that price for the whole set (LED version), but that's just my guess, I might be wrong
