'01 LS430 Puddle Light Removal
Anybody done this before? I need to replace the bulb. I see that there are some screws behind the mirror (I can see three...guessing there ares four), but I can only get the two outermost ones out. Moving the mirror to the top/bottom/left/right only gives me a very minimal amount of space, barely enough to get my screwdriver in, so I don't think I can take the mirror off like
this member . Is there some trick to it?
Thanks in advance!

So, do I just lift the mirror off? There's not enough space for my fingers to go all the way inside, even with the mirror all the way up or down.

The actual mirror does not come off, you just gotta pry it open, its a two peice...but just take it slow...and try not to break the inside clips

Should I lift it off from the outside or the inside (clip side or non-clip side)?
Sorry for asking all of these questions...I really don't want to break my mirrors and have to send my car to the dealer...

I would slowly pry each side slowly until you get enough to pop it off...

Just get a really really flat thin screw driver...unless you have something else that will work, let me know how it goes too.
