Default ASC Data Air Ride Controller

I was wondering if anyone knows how to work the ASC Data Air Ride Controller, how to program it. The instructions are all in Japanese, and if anyone knows the higher the number the lower the drop? I'm fixing to install it and I don't wanna mess anything up by pressin a bunch of buttons.

I tried doing a search on it and couldn't find anything. If you guys know the link, thanks in advance for it. I will post pics after the install. Once again thanks!

Do a search this topic has been covered and the answers are available. You have an '01 model and I believe you can drop it all the way to 9 and engage the super low mode. Good luck.

Yes. But you have to choose the SL mode during intial setup.
If you choose regular, you will only be able to go to 5 I think.
5 is the height that will pass japanese safety inspections.
It's easy.

in safe mode, you cannot get the car any lower than a setting of 5. you cannot go super low either. you get into super low by holding the bottom right button after you set the height to 9.

Ok cool, now do you know how to set the 3 programmable settings? B/c I want one for stock height, slammed, and semi-low?

You get 5 programmable heights. It's pretty simple, once you play around with it. And if you screw up, you just re-program the height.
It's no big deal.

I have been playin w/ this for over an hour, will the car's height adjust while the car is in PARK?

Is it bad when the DISP, says Headlight adjusting? Cuz it keeps constantly telling me that when I switch the memory.

Does the car instantly lower when you have the setting? How long does it take to lower?

What does it have to say on the screen? Does it have to have the "L" in the center? Or a certain number?

I just want it to be lowered pretty nice, but not completely slammed!

Also the TEMS is that suppose to be hard? or Normal? And the Speed Over km/h is that bad if its blinking red/blue red/blue? Is it bad if the speed is "OVER"?

Sorry I asked so many questions, just really trying to figure this out, I feel bad for pressing so many buttons to figure it out, i feel like i'm messing it up. If you didn't mind helping I would really appriciate it. Thanks!

JunJDM, if you do figure it out, please do a write up on the steps as that would be useful for the next person. I'm also interested in purchasing a Datasystem controller but not knowing any Japanese does kind of got me on the border.

Ok I figured out what I did wrong, basically it was a stupid minor mistake, I didn't have it programmed on the right car. Now that I got it programmed to the correct car everything is easy from there, the higher the number the lower the car. And it has 5 programmable settings instead of 3 like everyone is saying. Its worth every penny! "I LOVE it!"
