2003, ML
132K
I've put 95K on it
Air Compressor and Trunk Struts; other than that, just routine maintenance

Just bought a 2001 LS430 last weekend with 112K miles. It is in great shape and has no problems.

2005 bought new has 52000 and only problem was at 49500 was right side mirror motor was not working left to right but it worked up and down. It was under warranty (barely). But so far so good and would buy a 2008 if my wife lets me pull the trigger.

Red face

'01 UL has 78K on it. Bad front wheel bearing, blown sub, O2 sensor and a dang rock hit the Laser Cruise Unit and it is toast! I bouhgt an Lexus ESA when I bought it last year with 58k on it. All covered under the ESA except Laser System. I think it is > $2k to replace. So, trying to figure out how to deactivate it. Other than that, what a great ride!!

I dont understand....isnt there a plastic or glass cover to the laser unit....did the glass just crack or did the whole unit get destroyed? is it possible to replace the glass or plastic only? seems to me that your insurance would need to cover such an event

'01 LS430 Ultra (black on black)

105k miles now. Drives like new!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Issues encountered:
-steering colum studders sometime when key extending/retracting (but usually ok when used often)
-creaking noise from top of navi display (plastic bezel)
-trunk struts replaced
-rear retracting shade studders when going up and down
-left rear door retracting window shade (small triangle window) doesn't
retract anymore (it was left extended for a couple yrs)
-lighting for sport mode and ride height buttons went out
------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Had all major service done
-Oil changes were dealer performed until 60k. Then changed myself using oem Toyota filter and Mobile 1 Synthetic every 5k miles
-New Slotted rotors front & rear.
-Hawk HPS pads front and rear w/ Pentosin Dot 4 racing brake fluid
-18x9.5" Linea Sport rims w/ 245/45-18 tires.
-Suspension settings adjusted to lower LS approx 1"
-navi dvd updated
-windows tinted

White 2003 LS purchased new, now with just shy of 60,000 miles. Still on original brakes and original tires (summer and winter sets). Only thing other than regular maint. was trunk struts that the dealer replaced under warranty. Best car I've ever owned.
